Chapter 1: My Blogging Voyage

Embarking on a blogging journey resembles setting sail on an expansive digital ocean where creativity fuels the words that dance across the online realm. As the helmsman of my Medium blog, I have observed its gradual ascent, garnering the interest and admiration of readers from around the globe. In this article, I invite you to reflect with me on the evolution of my blog, revealing the intriguing story behind its growth.

Growing up, I was uncertain if I had a learning disability, as my handwriting faced harsh criticism from teachers and relatives alike. Some deemed it the worst they had ever seen. However, one supportive aunt gifted me a diary, encouraging me to write regularly. I poured my thoughts onto the pages day and night, disregarding structure, spelling errors, or uneven lines. It was my personal space to express myself, and that was all that mattered. Thus began my adventure into the uncharted waters of writing.

During this time, I also developed a passion for professional wrestling. Contrary to popular belief, wrestling attracts a diverse audience rather than just those who are economically disadvantaged. The earliest articles I consumed were about wrestling, sourced from Bleacher Reports and Sportskeeda, among others. As my reading expanded, so did my ideas and perspectives. I yearned to write, not just about wrestling, but also about movies, life experiences, and more.

With the onset of the pandemic, I found myself jobless and confined at home for months. This period was emotionally and mentally draining; however, I cherished the time spent with family and stayed connected with friends. Together, we read books, watched films, and enjoyed wrestling events. My desire to write grew stronger. During this time, I practiced my data analysis skills until I stumbled upon a Medium article discussing Twitter tweet analysis using R. This led me to realize that I could contribute my own articles to Medium.

I mustered the courage to write my first piece, yet I felt insignificant compared to the accomplished writers across various fields, many of whom boasted thousands of followers and applauses. I momentarily stepped back from writing on Medium, which I now recognize as a significant error. However, last year, I resolved to continue writing and sharing my work, believing that my friends—who have always encouraged me—would appreciate it. I never imagined that within a few months, a substantial number of readers would start following me and engaging with my stories.

At the beginning of 2023, I had around ten followers, and now I am thrilled to have tenfold that number. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to my followers for finding my content engaging. My Medium blog flourished because I committed to consistent writing. Now, I conduct thorough research to explore topics often overlooked, allowing me to provide fresh insights while also covering trending subjects.
