Lately, I've come across an exciting feature of ChatGPT that seems to have flown under the radar. While many are familiar with the standard ChatGPT interface, few discuss the availability of custom GPTs.

Regular ChatGPT is a fantastic tool for various daily tasks, but it may not always meet your needs for specific applications. For instance, when I use ChatGPT to assist with coding, I often encounter errors in the output. The standard model sometimes relies on outdated information, especially in the fast-paced world of software development. A code snippet that was accurate a year ago may no longer apply today.

This is where custom GPTs become invaluable. I have discovered models tailored for the specific programming languages used in mobile development, as well as those designed for web development. Utilizing these specialized models has significantly improved my results!

Beyond coding, there are countless other models trained on niche data that could be beneficial. Whether you're looking for writing aids, personal development coaches, or even therapy-like support, there’s likely a custom model available.

Here's how you can uncover these unique models:

Once you’re logged into your ChatGPT account, navigate to the sidebar and select "Explore GPTs." This will direct you to a page showcasing various GPTs, complete with their popularity rankings and user reviews. Additionally, if you're feeling adventurous, you have the option to create and train your own model, although I haven’t yet felt the need to do so.

Keep in mind that unrestricted access to these models is only available through the pro plan. If you're on the free plan, you can still use the GPTs, but your daily requests will be limited.
