Navigating the Blogging Journey: Intentions for Success

Chapter 1: My Writing Journey
As a writer, I have a confession. While I may seem like a novice, I've been engaged in screenwriting for the past seven years. Recently, one of my scripts was optioned, and in 2021, I authored two books along with several articles for publications like The Irish Times, The Spectator, and Tropical Fish Hobbyist.
Despite this experience, I still find myself grappling with blogging, particularly on Medium. To navigate this challenge, I sought guidance from Ayodeji Awosika and his Medium Blogging Course, which appears both approachable and filled with essential insights.
This brings me to a dilemma. With some experience under my belt, I harbor a sense of pride. But can I set aside my assumptions and embrace humility to truly excel in blogging? The most effective learning occurs when one approaches it with an open and unassuming mindset.
In reality, no writer can reach their full potential while clinging to pride and preconceived notions. For someone like me, with prior experience, this may be more challenging than for a complete beginner who approaches the task without any biases.
Section 1.1: My Blogging Intentions
Having just begun Ayo’s course, I've identified six key intentions crucial for my success in the blogging realm:
- Dedicate two hours daily to writing, allocating at least 45 minutes specifically for Medium blogs.
- Generate ten new headlines every morning without exception.
- Publish on Medium three to four times a week.
- Spend two hours weekly reading content from other Medium bloggers.
- Invest at least an hour weekly in marketing myself on Medium and cultivating my audience.
- Adhere closely to Ayo’s recommendations.
If I can commit to these intentions, I aspire to build a thriving blogging career on Medium.
Subsection 1.1.1: Sharing My Strategy
I decided to publicly share my overarching strategy for success on Medium, metaphorically nailing my intentions to the cathedral door for all to see. While it may not be groundbreaking or guarantee a $1,000 monthly income, it will undoubtedly provide valuable learning experiences and joy, which is a significant part of the journey.
This endeavor will also demand a level of humility, as I must release what I think I know and welcome new insights. Should I stumble, I may face metaphorical ridicule from my followers, but regardless, this adventure promises to be magnificent.
Chapter 2: Embracing the Learning Process

The second video titled "The Path To HELL Is Paved With GOOD Intentions" delves into the importance of intentions in personal growth and the writing process.
