It's about enjoying quality time with my future children, picking them up from school, and sharing family dinners. Attending my son's football games and my daughter's dance classes are experiences I look forward to.
At first glance, it may seem that my reasons are ordinary. However, they stem from a desire for a balanced life. My mother exemplifies hard work and determination, but it has taken a toll. There have been times in my life when weeks have passed without seeing her. She would leave for work before I woke up and return home only after I had gone to bed, all to make ends meet.
Her sacrifices stem from a need for financial stability, which often means long hours and little time for herself. While I want to ensure my family has a safe home, I also yearn to witness their growth. Is that too much to desire?
In today's world, it feels like a daunting challenge. With rising living costs, the focus often shifts to merely surviving rather than truly living. My wish is simple: enough financial security to not worry about food or heating, and the ability to watch my children grow into adults.
