Chapter 1: The Importance of Self-Love
Taking care of oneself is an essential journey, and I’ve always prioritized my well-being. Since childhood, I’ve dealt with gastric issues like heartburn, which naturally limited my indulgence in rich foods.
I’ve consistently been mindful of my diet, striving for a balance between nutritious and indulgent foods. It’s important to recognize that our self-esteem can be linked to our dietary choices. By prioritizing healthful eating, we can enhance our physical shape and overall well-being.
However, I want to emphasize that my motivations are rooted in self-pleasure rather than societal expectations. If I don’t appreciate myself, how can I expect anyone else to? Beyond physical appearance, health should always be a priority in our self-care routines.
Section 1.1: Hydration Goals
One area I need to improve is my water intake. Unfortunately, I often fall short of drinking the recommended amount daily. At one point, I would bring a liter and a half of water to work, committing to finishing it. But as winter approached, that routine slipped away.
Now, I’m planning to revive my hydration habits and make it a goal for March. Here’s hoping I stick to it!
