Decentralized Love: An Exploration of Consciousness in Web 3.0
Written on
Chapter 1: The Essence of Decentralization
I often envision my thoughts as decentralized, much like yours—expansive, welcoming, and gentle. (Remember the origami flowers you crafted for the kids on Valentine’s Day?) Yet, there are moments when my clarity is muddled by the self-serving interests of ego’s venture capitalists, who seek to control governance tokens and disrupt the threads of compassion that connect us. (In our disagreements, I find my jaw clenched tight as sleep eludes me.)
Intimacy, like parachains, interweaves our lives. This connection is unforgettable. Is there a comprehensive guide meant for our souls? (Regardless, I will seek you in the metaverse, even beyond this life, my love.)
Digital Decentralized — “Decentralized” is a love poem dedicated to my wife, expressed through the framework of Web 3.0. I perceive Web 3.0 as a compelling metaphor for both consciousness and love. Is our mind centralized or decentralized? Is our individual awareness merely a fragment of a broader consciousness? Can we define that awareness as “love”?
Chapter 2: The Dual Nature of the Collection
This collection comprises two facets: the textual and the digital. The textual aspect is the poem presented above. The digital facet includes four artistic interpretations of various verses, two microfilms on “digital writing,” one piece of AI-generated graphic art, and an animated gif.
Each digital creation employs diverse techniques, including writing and illustration in Procreate®, photo manipulation in Photoshop, and video editing using Premiere Pro. Therefore, the collection itself embodies decentralization.
The digital works can seamlessly integrate into a webpage, blog with a Vimeo link, or coded framework. I can also adjust the dimensions of the digital elements to suit any publication’s needs. Furthermore, NFTs are available for each part of this artistic endeavor. I encourage you to share, comment, engage, and, most importantly, savor the experience!
